The past few years have been tough for all of us who are desperate to see a world with properly funded health care and social services, good affordable homes for all, well paid jobs for those who can work and realistic benefits for those who can’t, a sustainable green future and the wealthiest people and corporations making a contribution to society.

Everywhere we look there is Tory-inspired devastation; empty shelves in supermarkets and food banks in ever greater demand, hospitals in crisis with waiting lists growing ever longer, a housing catastrophe, benefits cut, sewage pouring into our sea and the highest Covid death rate in the world.

We believe there is a better way. We want to remind the people of St Ives constituency that we do not need to put up with Tory cuts and chaos.

Our membership is made up of experienced, enthusiastic and creative people who are committed to making life better for all. We welcome anyone who shares our aims and values.

We stand candidates in all elections from parish and town councils to Cornwall Council and for Parliament. The St Ives Constituency includes Penzance and everything to its west, including Land’s End and the Isles of Scilly, St Ives and Carbis Bay (but not Hayle), through Praa Sands to Helston and the entire Lizard Peninsula.
